I acknowledge and agree that:
- I have read, understood and agree to abide by the Australian National Anti-Doping Policy (available on the Sport Integrity Australia website HERE), effective from 1 January 2021. This policy has been adopted by Badminton Australia (BA) and is applicable to all participants in Badminton.
- I have read, understood and agree to abide by BA’s National Integrity Framework policies (available on the BA website, effective from 31st March 2022 and applicable to all participants in Badminton.
- I have read, understood and agree to abide by all BA policies and codes of conduct and also agree to comply with any other policies adopted by BA and advised to me in future available on the Badminton Australia website.
- It is my responsibility to familiarise myself with these policies, including any updates to the policies and other policies as adopted by BA that I am advised of in future.
- A breach of these policies could result in further action being taken, as outlined in the respective policy.
CBR Badminton Club
By registering with CBR Badminton Club, you (and if you are under 18 years of age, your parent or legal guardian) acknowledge and agree to abide by the following terms and conditions:
Compliance with Club Policies: You agree to abide by the CBR Badminton Club Constitution, By-Laws, Code of Conduct, rules, policies, terms, and conditions. These guidelines are put in place to ensure a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for all members. You also agree to adhere to Sports Integrity Australia policies.
Registration and Fees: You agree to pay the full registration fee prior to participating in any games or training sessions. Registration fees are essential for the smooth functioning of the club and to cover various expenses.
Accurate Information: You confirm that the information provided during the registration process is current and correct. It is your responsibility to update this information as necessary.
Medical Assistance Authorisation: In the event of any accident or illness, you authorize CBR Badminton Club to obtain necessary medical assistance on your behalf or on behalf of your child. You also agree to bear the cost of any medical fees or medications incurred while participating in badminton activities.
Data Privacy and Sharing: You consent to the storage of information obtained during the registration process in the CBR Badminton Club database. This information may be shared with the ACT Badminton Association Incorporated and Badminton Australia Limited for registration processing and event notifications. Access to this information will be limited to authorized personnel only.
Photography and Videography Consent: You agree that CBR Badminton Club may capture photographs or videos during normal club activities of yourself, or if you are registering a player under the age of 18, then your child. However, any individual or club member who intends to record or take photos during CBR Badminton Club activities must first obtain explicit permission from any individuals who will be recognisable in the photographs or videos. If consent is not obtained, or if any person objects to being photographed or recorded, their faces must be blurred out or otherwise obscured in the final media before using it for any purpose.
Use of Media: CBR Badminton Club may use, display, license, sell, and publish audio, audiovisual, and/or photographic recordings of you or your child for the purpose of advertisement, promotion, or otherwise, provided that consent has been obtained as described.
Release and Indemnity: You hereby release and indemnify CBR Badminton Club, its officers, servants, and agents from any liability, actions, suits, claims, demands, proceedings, losses, damages, compensation, costs, charges, and expenses arising directly or indirectly from playing, training, or spectating badminton. This includes any personal injury or infringement of rights to yourself or your child.
Social Play and Court Usage Policy: In promoting a culture of inclusivity and camaraderie, CBR Badminton Club places great importance on social play and court usage. We encourage all members to actively engage in our social play sessions, fostering an open-minded approach to playing with various individuals. It is essential to emphasise that we do not endorse the practice of players coming in groups and reserving courts solely for their exclusive use. Instead, we believe in allocating court time on a first-come, first-served basis to ensure equal opportunities for all members. By embracing this ethos, we aim to create a welcoming and enjoyable badminton experience for every participant at CBR Badminton Club.
By registering with CBR Badminton Club, you demonstrate your understanding and agreement to comply with the above terms and conditions. Failure to adhere to these guidelines may result in disciplinary actions, including the possibility of suspension or expulsion from the club.
